The FamilyWorks Resource Center is a warm and inviting place where families and individuals are welcomed and encouraged to participate in programs designed to support and enhance a nurturing and vibrant community.
The FamilyWorks Food Bank is dedicated to providing fresh, healthy food to people and families in our community who are experiencing hunger or are in danger of experiencing hunger. Our caring staff and volunteers greet every customer with kindness and respect.
With a combination of a food bank and a family resource center, FamilyWorks offers people in the neighborhood a unique opportunity to truly nourish and strengthen their bodies, minds and spirit in a positive, supportive environment.
Our board members bring a broad range of experience and share a common goal.

What They Say
“I believe strongly that people have a fundamental right to basic needs – like not having to deal with hunger – and that families provide a tremendous amount of support for individuals and communities. Work that supports both is something I believe will inherently strengthen our community and lay the groundwork for a more equitable tomorrow for all of us. And I believe that at the end of the day, people are accountable to create the kind of community they want to live in – and I am eager and willing to ask others to contribute, both monetarily and otherwise, to help make that a reality."
Lauren Woodman
I see food insecurity and lack of family support as key vehicles to making a difference for individuals, families and communities and I would love to leverage my experience and energy to make a lasting difference.
