How do I make a donation of food?
You can bring food by any day the food bank or the resource center is open. We will weigh your donation and give you a receipt. More information on what can be donated can be found here.
How about a donation of children’s items?
We would love to receive your gently used and clean toys for our families. They can be brought by during open resource center hours.

How do I make a donation of cash?
You can make an online donation, mail a check, or walk in and visit us! Thank you for making an investment in the future of our families on their path to resiliency.
How do I qualify for the Food Bank?
To use the FamilyWorks Food Bank, you need to reside in one of the following zip codes: 98103, 98115, 98133 or 98107 for the Wallingford site or 98103, 98107, 98133, 98115, 98117 or 98177 for the Greenwood Food Resource Center. If you are homeless, you can use any of the Seattle food banks, including FamilyWorks. If you are outside of our food bank zip codes, we will always be happy to serve you on your first visit and provide you with a referral to your neighborhood food bank.

What are the hours of the food bank?
Tuesday 12 pm – 2 pm
Thursday 3 pm – 6 pm
Friday 11 am – 1 pm
The third Saturday of every month from 10 am – 12pm
How do I receive one-on-one Advocacy or help with accessing resources?
Our Family Advocates Virginia Gonzales and Hayley Berra are available to help. Both are bilingual in Spanish, and appointments can be made for Tuesdays with Virgina by calling 694-6730, or Thursdays and Fridays by calling Hayley at 694-6842.
How do I make an appointment for a computer tutoring session?
Just call our main number (206) 694-6727 and schedule an appointment for a Thursday afternoon!
How do I get bus tickets or diapers?
You can receive bus tickets (round trip) once a week when we have them available.
Same with diapers!
