Teen/Young Parent Program

This free program is designed to provide support to parents up to 23 years of age. The program has a support group that meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 4-6 and a home visiting program. Call Gladys on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 694-6729 or at 335-6943 for more information.

We provide parenting and individual support, field trips, access to resources, opportunities for sharing/networking, and advocacy.  The Teen/Young Parent support group meets on the second and fourth Saturday of the month at the North Seattle Family Center (3200 NE 125th St--in the Lake City neighborhood) from 4:00-6:00PM.  An additional part of the program is having the opportunity to be part of the Parents As Teachers home visiting program.  This program includes visits at home or at an agreed upon location and provides individualized parenting information and support.
