Invest in the professional and personal growth of the staff

Expanding and deploying transformative programming requires an investment in staff and organizational structure. FamilyWorks added a Director of Programs position in December 2024 to drive program strategy, partnerships, and evaluation. We’re adding infrastructure and technology to support organizational growth including a new database that will help us to better track our impact and identify trends and needs.

We are also investing in all staff by offering robust benefits and support programs, including a adding a gold standard Employee Assistance Program in May 2024 and increasing matching funds towards retirement from 2% to 3% in 2025. And we’re proud to have raised the minimum wage for our staff to $30/hour in 2025 in response to decades of underinvestment in nonprofits and low wages.
