Current Volunteer Opportunities

Be a food rescue superstar!

We are looking for a volunteer to provide vacation and emergency cover for food rescue at the Wallingford farmer’s market. The shift is Wednesdays 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. The position involves leaving crates with receptive vendors, collecting the food filled crates when the market closes and then delivering them back to the food bank. You would need to be comfortable driving the FamilyWorks van or have access to your own van. Please email Kat at kathrynj@familyworksseattle.org if you think you can help.
